| The core ethos of AIFB has been evolved around the pioneering Research, Advisory, Consulting, Education (RACE) framework, equipped to offer holistic, full life cycle products and services in the domain of Entrepreneurship and Family Business. The following figure provides a bird's eye visual representation of the RACE Framework:

Research Leadership
With critical emphasis on 'peer exchange', driven by research based peer group learning goals, AIFB aims, by its particular approach to educational pedagogy, to create conducive 'learning eco-systems' where entrepreneurs are provided with a variety of platforms to collaboratively and individually achieve self-discovery and self-development goals. Being designed and developed as a research centric 'Centre of Excellence' AIFB aims to be a one-of-its-kind Management Institute dedicated to the sustainability and growth of Family Businesses in Asia and India.
Customised Pedagogical Innovations
While 'Family Business' as a management discipline has grown over the last decade, with institutions offering either specialized programs or specialization opportunities embedded as part of general management programs. Most programs ,
if not all, are taught using the same pedagogic tools used for general management programs. AIFB envisages using a Case Based study methodology to expose participants to the various facets of managements, success stories, innovative ways in dealing with mission critical issues, failures and lessons to be learnt thereof, among a host of other areas. This will be coupled with the use of a unique blend of other pedagogic tools adapted from Globsyn's Knowledge Finishing School™ ® System, starting from evaluating individual learner styles to using the Knowledge Finishing School™ ® System's innovative teaching and knowledge acquisition skills. With emphasis on application skills and performance orientation participants will not only be exposed to generic functional areas such as operations, marketing, finance, accounting, human resource management, management information systems etc but also relevant family driven aspects that are rarely taught in terms of, communicating through the generational gaps, sibling rivalry, innovative value systems, unwritten rules in old Asian and Indian business families, family culture and other traditional issues arising from family relationships.
AIFB proposes to use a variety of knowledge dissemination platforms ranging from full time programs in Family Business Management (PGDFBM), dedicated programs for Start-ups, programs on Entrepreneurship etc apart from organising Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Specialist Clinics and real-time consulting services. For instance, AIFB proposes to organise specialist clinics ranging from 1/2 a day to 2 days in duration in areas such as:
- Living in the unknown –the risk taking ability
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities
- Performance Management
- Sibling partnerships
- Family Councils
- Succession Planning etc.
